While airborne I shot some test footage with my new Panasonic Lumix LX3 compact camera. Camera setting are automatic. Footage shot on HD setting: 1280 x 720 and 24fps. Footage was imported in iMovie and exported as mov file with the h264 codec and highest quality setting. iMovie has no setting to keep the material in original native Lumix LX3 format.

The police air support unit provided a well equipped platform for shooting aerial photography. With the FLIR side mounted camera we shot some images of the carnival festivities in the town of Halle. Shots will be used in an episode of Witse, a police drama series.

I'm getting hypnotised by the 3D versions off flickrvision and twittervision. It's hard not to look at the images and text being uploaded all over yhe world. Fascinating stuff...
